    Council Re|sale offers women’s and men’s career, casual, and evening wear attire, shoes, accessories, and jewelry, home decor, and art, all at low prices. Proceeds benefit National Council of Jewish Women, Michigan community impact projects.Assistance provided to those unable to afford these items.

    Services include programs, support groups, and respite and other services for family caregivers.

    Support groups for individuals caring for older adults; and respite, support groups and other services for family caregivers of people living with dementia.

  • Family Support Services and Emergency Financial Assistance

    Services include a needs assessment, development of a self-sufficiency plan, information and referrals and help with navigating public benefits. Financial assistance with basic living needs for those who meet eligibility criteria.

  • Counseling and Mental Health Services

    Services include counseling and supports for people of all ages who need help with personal and/or family issues, life transitions, divorce, loss, depression, anxiety, other emotional concerns, bullying, domestic violence and/or addiction.

    We Need to Talk
    A youth mental health initiative of the Detroit Jewish community provides educational programming, trainings and funding for additional mental health professionals to support young people and their families.

    Jewish Family Service
    Mental health counseling for adults, children and families.

  • Housing and Financial Literacy Counseling

    Services include assistance to families and individuals who may be facing a financial crisis, need assistance with budgeting or debt management/reduction, or are interested in homebuyer education and assistance. Individual counseling and group workshops are available.
