FRED Talks

Federation is excited to announce the launch of FRED Talks, a unique opportunity for community members to learn about mental health solutions in an intimate gathering with their friends or relatives.

FRED Talks (“Focus on Resources, Education and Dialogue”) is an invitation to a community conversation, facilitated by a mental health professional in partnership with the Jewish Federation.

You can request to host a FRED Talk in your home and invite friends and neighbors with the confidence that Federation will provide the speaker, the expertise and even the refreshments to assure a comfortable, informative and successful event.

Topics for FRED Talks range from:

  • Managing a child’s stress levels
  • Setting appropriate expectations for technology use
  • Identifying the signals that a child is struggling or in crisis.
